PHILANTHROPY

A Commitment to Giving Back

For nearly two decades, Jimmie and his wife, Chandra, have been working diligently to improve the communities they have called home, raising millions of dollars to support K-12 public education and other causes in North Carolina, Oklahoma, and California.

About the Jimmie Johnson Foundation

In 2006, Jimmie and Chandra launched the Jimmie Johnson Foundation to help children, families, and communities in need. In the years since, the foundation has awarded more than $13.3 million to support K-12 public schools, as well as grassroots and national nonprofit organizations.

Through its Champions Grant program, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation has funded 167 school projects with more than $6.8M in grant awards. The foundation has also supported 155 nonprofit organizations, providing them with more than $6.5M in funding. While there is always a need for more, these contributions have made lasting impacts on children, schools, and communities across the United States.
