Six-time NASCAR champion, Jimmie Johnson, shifts into Spring as a style ambassador for Gap Factory. The Exclusively Styled Spring 2015 campaign pairs Johnson’s All-American charisma with the brand’s casual, optimistic style. The global marketing campaign includes print ads, social media and visual presentations in 350 Gap Factory stores across Canada, China, France, Japan, Ireland, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. The campaign features Jimmie Johnson and his wife Chandra Johnson, as well as supermodels Erin Heatherton and Noah Mills. Gap Factory will also be partnering with the Jimmie Johnson Foundation on several programs throughout the campaign benefitting K-12 public education.
Jimmie is once again nestled among legends like Michael Jordan, Joe Montana and Derek Jeter in Gatorade’s newest commercial commemorating the company’s 50th anniversary.
In the spot, the Florida Gators football team counts down 50 push-ups with clips from iconic Gatorade athletes, teams and championship moments. Viewers get a taste of the wide range of sports Gatorade has touched in the last 50 years, including soccer (#5: The Brazil national team has five stars on its shirts for five World Cup championships), football (#21: The Giants start the tradition of dumping Gatorade on their coach in Super Bowl XXI) and tennis (#24: At the 2012 Wimbledon, Serena Williams serves 24 aces in a single match). The commercial is close to wrapping when we catch a glimpse of that iconic Lowe's Chevrolet roaring across the finish line at Martinsville Speedway to indicate the number 48.

"AE: What got you into racing?
Jimmie: My dad is a big race fan for all types of racing. On the west coast I was growing up I would watch and spectate. My dad also worked on an off-road race team and worked within racing. So I was just around it. I grew up riding dirt bikes. That was my kind of outlet for racing and then found my way into cars. It was our family sport. Instead of football or baseball it has always been racing.
AE: What advice do you have for new dads out there?
That's right, the 6-time Champion joined Snapchat at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He got off on the right foot by doing a Q&A with his fans on there and proceeded to post pictures and videos throughout the day giving his followers a behind-the-scenes look at his normal race day. After leading 191 of the 344 laps at Texas Motor Speedway, Jimmie walked away with yet another trophy and iconic Victory Lane cowboy hat. This is his 3rd consecutive win at the fall Texas race and his 4th win at TMS (making him the all-time track win leader). It was a great night for all 260K Lowe's employees to see Johnson drive the Lowe's Red Vest Chevrolet into Victory Lane!
