Jimmie To Drive Teal and Gold Wheel in Richmond
In this weekend’s final race of the regular season, Jimmie will run a teal and gold steering wheel in support of the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation . Truex’s Foundation focuses their support on women and children battling cancer, a cause close to he and much of the NASCAR family, as his longtime girlfriend Sherry Pollex overcame ovarian cancer.
After the race Johnson will autograph his steering wheel, and along with several other drivers running the wheels throughout the month of September, it will go up for auction on the NASCAR Foundation’s Fanatics auction site at the end of September (September is also National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month). Keep your eyes on the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation's Twitter page and Truex's Facebook page to see when you can place your bid.
You can also text “Strong” to 50155 to make a donation.
See Jimmie crank his Martin Truex Jr. Foundation steering wheel to the right 800 times this Saturday night in the Federated Auto Parts 400 on NBCSN at 7:30 PM ET.
