How long have you been a fanI have been a Nascar fan nearly all my life because my dad raced dirt track near where i was raised in Spencer, IA - but i am a fanatic now and have been for about 2 years.
How did your interest in racing startI was raised on local dirt tracks from before i was old enough to know better - my dad raced for years when i was young - and i went along Saturday nights!!
Who was your first favorite driverJimmie Johnson - now and for - ev- er
Who is your current favorite driverJimmie all the way
If you had three hours to spend with your favorite driver, what would you doGo for a ride in the 48 of course - :) and then anything he wanted and was willing to let me tag along on!
What is your most memorable moment in racingEach and every time Jimmie went to victory lane - especially the nail biters that came down the wire - although i thought i would have heart failure a few times!!
How many races do you attend each yearI haven't gone to any yet - but i am planning to go to Miami at year end - and next is Daytona!
What is your favorite trackDaytona i would say - simply because the track is what i consider a home track and it starts the season!!
If you worked in racing, what job would you doI would love to be in PR - i have a very outgoing personality and have always thought i would love to do broadcasts and PR work - especially for Nascar
If you were in charge of NASCAR, what would you changeAll of the micromanagement - the silly penalties that came down last year for the 48 and 24 - i also think things were perhaps overblown on the oil pan lid issue with Carl Edwards - i think Nascar needs to work on making the COT a driveable and COMPETITIVE car - right now it seems that if you have the car locked in your are golden - but there isn't much room for adjustments - if you start poorly you don't see many that seem to be able to make adjustments and come back and be competitive.
